er family farm in Belleville, Tennessee, for Decoration Day, observed on the second Sunday in June each year—a time for families to come together at church graveyards to “decorate” the graves of their loved ones with fresh flowers, to remember the good times, and to share those memories while catching up with longtime friends.
In the days leading up to Decoration Day 1972, the Garners will bare all of their secrets in a week filled with conflict, affairs, and sin…and it will be up to Irene Garner, the family’s matriarch, to keep her family’s reputation intact.
Brimstone A Myth of Terror in the Old west
BRIMSTONE is an adventure novel about a boy’s blind devotion to the thing he desires most-a horse of his own. With wishes and wants so strong and powerful, they are noticed and granted by a long forgotten evil spirit of the Cherokee, an Uktena. The novel is a sweeping action/adventure/horror story that includes many action sequences such as chases, fights, stampedes, bronco busting, a barn burning, town dances, spectacular storms, and confrontations between titanic good and evil spirits in the skies of Texas and Mexico.

Kelly Key
Kelly Key has worked in the entertainment industry for over 30 years. Writing came to him late in his career, but Kelly’s creations proved to be fruitful.
Decoration Day, a Southern Gothic tale of a Tennessee family, is Kelly’s 6th novel. His first novel, Brimstone A Myth of Terror in the Old West,
came to him in a dream as a Western/Horror matchup. Kelly has written stories in a broad spectrum of genres. Wedding Secrets is a Romantic Comedy. You Can’t Tell is a Murder Mystery. Kelly’s next two books, Bloody Bones and Bloody Bones Rise of the Witch Twins, are Fantasy/Horror books that follow the epic saga of the Blackburn Witches.
Kelly currently resides in Lafayette, Tennessee.
